An exquisite large vintage tapestry from Italy c1960s in a Rococo or Baroque Style. This beautiful wall hanging will look gorgeous in your Italianate style home but will also work with many other types of decor. It is heavy, quality made and lined. There are a variety of colors used including blue, olive green, burgundy, golden tones and taupe. Depending on the background, different colors will pull from this piece. You can see this in our photos as we tried to show a few different examples with background colors. It is a gorgeous scenic view looking over the city showing the many architectural elements we know from Italy.
It is in EXCELLENT estate condition with no rips, tears, stains or odors seen. All it needs is a good steam to get the fold marks out.
The tapestry measures 37" in height including the 4" tabs for hanging at the top. It has a 47" length. The tab for hanging will hold up to a 3 1/4" rod so this can be displayed on a small or fancy large rod. It would look great on a wall behind a sofa or server but could also be used above a window or entry way. The tapestry is thick and quality.
