This Mid Century Modern pattern was produced from 1954 - 1966 and has recently had a resurgence of popularity among MCM collectors and designers. Franciscan's introduced this clay dinnerware formula, known as Malinite, in 1946. These pieces are stone white color with the faintest gray fleck. The flash gives the pieces a little of yellow hue they are not yellow or discolored unless we specifically mention the hue is from our flash and background reflection. The atomic starburst designs are done in aqua blue, yellow and a light olive green with black outlines. The saucers are not perfectly round but rather slightly asymmetrical giving them a free floating look.
