Vintage Amflex Ampul Skateboard, 1970s Fiberglass Skateboard with ACS-500 Trucks, Amflex, Ampul
Now this is a great vintage skateboard from the 1970s. Amflex by Ampul with a great anodized aluminum and red urethane wheels with ACS-500 trucks. This is one of those skateboards that you rarely see in this condition for a board that is pushing 50 years old!
The deck is all good with no chips or cracks. It is made from anodized aluminum and has a natural wood grain look and color. The deck measures 26 1/4" long by 5 3/4" at its widest point at the center. It has the original black skid surface on the top to prevent sliding on the deck and the original Amflex decal. The decal is faded from age but can still be seen. The urethane red read Ampro 6 Wide and they measure 2 3/16" long and 2 1/4" in height.
The board has ACS-500 trucks in nice shape and the wheels although used still have plenty of ride left on them. The back of the board has some cool vintage decals (Redline Racing Frames, Team Honda Warren Reid, Fox Racing Logo, Ampul, American Flag (which does have black paint or some kind of black substance on it). The only major flaw we see is the black paint on the back which is really not going to affect anything.
This is a great Vintage Board and you just don't see too many around from the 1970s in this condition.
