This is a great looking example of vintage Order of the Eastern Star fine jewelry. This estate 14k EOS ring comes from a one owner estate and is in immaculate condition for its age. It is a size 6.25 and can be resized to perfection by your jeweler.
The front of the ring has an elongated setting measuring 3/4" North to South and 1/2" East to West. At the very top and bottom of the setting is a 1.5mm faceted diamond. They are small but mighty stones. Extremely nice quality VS1 Clarity and H color which is rare for small stones. Each stone is estimated at .02 carats for a .04 total diamond carat weight. The polished black onyx stone serves for the backdrop of the ring it is oval and measures 7mm X 5mm X 2mm deep for an estimated .50 carat of onyx.
Attached the onxy is the colorful enamel star. The enamel is all good and in excellent condition for its age. The symbols in each section of the star are in gold as well as the outline of the star. This might be difficult to see in photos.
The band of the ring is ribbed on the sides with a 4mm height tapering to a 1.5mm at back of band. Our model indicates it is a comfortable fit. The ring is marked 14k and has been safely tested to be so. There is a pictorial hallmark inside the band of a church. See last photo. It looks like 2 buildings until you loupe it. The front of the church as a cross on the door. I checked all of our references because I know I have seen this mark before several times and could not locate it. I also check references for antique awards and badges and came up short. If anyone has a clue, we would love the shared info.
Lastly this ring is in Excellent condition. It will come in a plush presentation box for you or to gift. Use our ship to option for gifting - we will do the wrapping!
