A stunning 4 piece antique ironstone wash set decoration with a wide green band and pink rose. This set is also hand trimmed in gold metallic. It makes an incredible display in any room and can be used to hold flowers or on it's own. We have it shown on an entryway table and it is eye catching. This set is estimated to be 1870-80s and in impeccable condition for it's age with no chips, cracks or flakes on any of the pieces. It is rare to find a set of this age (140 yrs+) with no physical damage. The only thing we note is some small spots of discoloration on bottom of large bowl but really minimal and we mention for accuracy.
All pieces have an embossed "H" and embossed 5 "Dot" 8 mark. Each piece also has a hand painted mark in green which the number 3 over the top of 5479 - my guess is that these have to do with shape and design and the embossed marks are dates marks of some kind. There are no other stamps or marks on any of the pieces. Most likely English ironstone c1870-80.
