1959 Timo Sarpaneva Orkidea (Orchid) Art Glass Sculpture #3568 for Iittala of Finland. This Mid Century Modern glass sculpture has clean smooth lines and will work well with all modern decors including minimalist and transitional. It is also a wonderful piece for office decor.
This Art Glass Sarpaneva piece is in Very Good++ estate condition with no chips, cracks or flakes seen. The white spots you see on the black background photos is lint from our macro lens. We have shown this in natural light on our end table and it displays beautifully with a smooth polished finish. It is about 3" across it's widest point. There is a large bubble inside the piece coming from the curved side.
The bottom reads "Tim Sarpaneva 3568 - Finnish Bowling Association 1959.
