A great little coppery coal scuttle from Holland with a Delft blue and white porcelain handle. This vintage scuttle also has a moving handle and lions heads on the sides. It is the perfect size for your fireplace mantel, shelf, or table decor. It has a nice aged patina but you can still see the shine coming through. It will clean up nicely if you choose to do so, we only did a quick wipe down. We like our metals with patina to give them some character and age but if you wish this piece shiny and bright some Bar Keepers Friend will do the job nicely.

This vintage metalware scuttle is in Good condition with a few small dings as we would expect to see with the age. It displays beautifully and if you love vintage charm this is definitely a wonderful display piece. This little scuttle stands 7 1/2" to the top of the handle when it is raised. The handle does move back and forth. It measures 7 1/2" across the opening from handle to spout and 5 1/2" across from handle to handle.
We see the remnants of what we believe is copper cleaner on the inside of the scuttle in some of the creases. It will come off. The porcelain handle with a blue and white motif is in Very Good condition with no chips, cracks or flakes and the color is still bright.
We have another Holland Delft Handle Scuttle, full size in Brass coming this week as well. Both from the same family estate. They look great displayed together.
