This set has a gorgeous over-all light powder blue glaze. The rest of the pieces are hand painted with a gorgeous rooster design on one side and florals on the other in colors of a rosy red, blue, green and yellow. This creamer and sugar would make a great display when not in use in your French Country or Farmhouse home.
The Sugar bowl stands 5" tall to top of lid with a 6" span across the handles. This piece is in Very Good Condition with no chips, cracks or flakes. No loss of paint. This piece has the HB Quimper mark c1970 and initials P.F. The lid is perfect.
The Creamer stands 4 1/2" to the edge of the spout and spans 5" across the body to the end of the handle. We note two flea bite chips at the base one is 4mm and one is 5mm. At the rim of the creamer we note two small spots of lost glaze. For the age of these they display well. The bottom is stamped the same as above but we see no artists mark. All pieces of Quimper are hand painted so the mark most likely has faded.
