Anchor Hocking Pink Depression Glass Covered Candy Dish in the Mayfair pattern. This pattern is gorgeous featuring open wild roses around each side. It is a nice standing 8 1/2" tall with the lid. This vintage, almost antique piece of glass is in EXCELLENT estate condition with no chips, cracks, flakes or repairs. This depression glass style was introduced in the 1930s and brought back again in the 1970s.
As mentioned above, the candy dish stands 8 1/2" to the top of the lid. Without the lid the height of the dish is 5 1/2" and measures 4 7/8" across the opening.
This lovely piece of glass will go with many different types of decor. We like to see colorful depression glass mixed with our French Country and Shabby Chic decors but we are also seeing them mixed in transitional decors.
