This lovely expansion bracelet and necklace set was crafted by one of the most sought after designers in this style jewelry, Pitman and Keeler c1930-40. This exquisite vintage set, from their American Queen line is in it's original dark blue plush velvet box.
The pieces both have big blue faceted glass rhinestone topaz hearts at their center. Both pieces are ornately engraved with scroll work and alternating highly polished gold plated settings. The expansion bracelet will comfortably fit a 6-8" wrist. The heart at the center measures 7/8"" tall X 7/8" wide. There is mild wear at the back top of the heart and on the top back of a few of the links. As you can see from the photos this piece is in exquisite condition for it's age. The gold plating is BRIGHT and clean on the front and the wear on the back is minor for a piece of this age.
The necklace rope chain measures 19.5" and has an ornate hinged clip clasp. The heart pendant measures 7/8" L X 7/8" W. The gold plating is bright and clean on the back and front.
The plush box is clean inside and out. It is missing a brass decoration on the left lower corner of the box. It has protected this phenomenal set very well for many years.
