Myott & Sons Old Lustre Copper Creamer Large Size Antique Staffordshire
This antique large creamer or small sauce pitcher by Myott & Sons, England has a beautiful pattern with leaves and vines. It is larger than most average size creamers and will hold 20 oz or 2 1/2 cups of cream, sauce or gravy. It is in Good condition with no chips, cracks, flakes or repairs seen. It will go well with many different types of decor including, farmhouse, cottage and country.
We love the larger size of this creamer you can see it next to our soda can to get a visual of how nice of a display piece this will also make when not in use. This cream pitcher has the Myott & Sons mark from c1910-1920.
The creamer stands 4" tall and has a 6 1/4" span from handle to spout. It holds a whopping 20 oz. (or 2 1/2 cups) of cream or sauce. This piece is free of any chips, cracks, flakes or repairs. The copper luster is bright and glossy throughout. We see crazing with no discoloration the crazing on the outside of body. We see a few light spots of discoloration inside the creamer. None of what we are seeing is anything more than normal wear on a piece that is over 100 years old. It has less age wear than most pieces we see of this age. I give it an 8 out 10 on condition. The base color of the pitcher is a true cream color.
