An exceptional piece of Mid Century Modern Murano art glass from Italy. This large vase stands 13 inches. It has incredible colors with prominent red and orange and stripes in yellow, red, blue, and orange. It is in Excellent one owner estate condition with no chips, cracks or flakes it is SPOTLESS..
The base is highly polished with no signatures or marks seen. Using a soft tape measure it measures 21" around it's widest bulbous area of the body. It is heavy and so solid with an unboxed weight of 7.9 lbs!!
We wanted to put an LED battery operated light inside and light it up to show the colors but we ran out of time before we took the photos. I think it would awesome illuminated. No idea who the designer was but it is an incredible piece of glass.
