This is one eye catching piece of Mid Century Modern Murano Art Glass. The color is red to orange just like a flame and it is has beautiful gold metallic flakes at the center. As soon as I saw it I thought it was a piece of Fratelli Toso. There is not a label but there are several examples of his work online. This large art glass shallow bowl is in Very Good+ one owner estate condition with no chips, cracks or flakes. It is an attention grabber for any room and will work well with your MCM, Danish Modern and Transitional decors.
This shallow bowl is large measuring 12 3/4" X 12 3/4" and standing just about 2 3/4" tall. It has a polished base and whether you display it propped up on a plate rack or down on a coffee table it will make a great decorative impression on your room.
