One of the most vibrant pieces of Fenton Art Glass we have offered. This unusual Fenton Carnival Glass Ruffled bowl is done in the Butterfly and Berry design panels around the edges with a Fantail (peacock feathers) design at the center. Most of the pieces in this line that have a ruffled edge has some type of beading on the edge of the ruffle whereas this bowl is smooth. The background glass color seen on the back where the logo is marked looks almost black. The colors are extremely bright and highly saturated. I would say purple leaning toward a magenta and green are the most prominent with an electric blue and golden yellow coming in as accents. The result is simply stunning from every angle. It stands on 3 glass claw and ball feet.
This bowl has the Fenton logo from the 1980s with the Fenton mark in an oval with the number 8 underneath. It stands 3 3/8" tall and measures 9 1/4" across the top opening. It is in EXCELLENT estate condition with no chips, cracks or flakes. Any spots you see are on the bowl are either water marks from our wipe down or reflections of images in the background. This is a gem of a piece worthy of a carnival glass collector.
