This antique maple rolling pin is over sized and quite a show piece. It must have been used for commercial baking. It is beautiful estate condition. See all of our photos.
It is made from solid maple with a beautiful grain in the wood. It is a larger size than most rolling pins measuring 26" from handle end to end with a rolling surface of 18". The rolling pin surface has an 8 1/2 diameter.
You can wax or polish it if you are displaying it and if you are cooking with it, give a wash and go it is solid and such a nice piece. It would look great as a decorative display piece in a farmhouse kitchen or as restaurant or bakery decor. A really nice gift for the cook or baker.
The dark spot you see in the last photo is a natural knot in the wood.
