Vintage piece of French Faience pottery by Quimper.  This serving plate has a gorgeous faint blue glaze and is hand painted with a rooster and other florals.  This piece is in VG estate condition with no chips, cracks or flakes seen.  A great piece for farmhouse, french country and country decor.

We believe this is the Le Coq Breton pattern. The shape of the bowl is round (some of the newer pieces have a scalloped edge with this pattern). This piece does not have the Quimper stamp but is marked with the Decorator Number 685 and Form Number 272 and has the artist mark P.

This would hold pasta, salads and fruits or to serve meats.

We will be listing SEVERAL pieces of Quimper from the same estate all week so continue to check often as we add more pieces. We will combine shipping if you are interested in more than one item or lots of items.
