c1950-60 Danish Modern Staved Teak Ice Bucket by ESR Denmark. This beautiful piece of Mid Century Modern Barware will hold plenty of ice, a champagne or wine bottle and work as a piece of decor when not in use. It is in Very Good owner estate condition.
The bucket stands 8 1/2" to the top of the handles and spans 10" across the handles. It has a beautiful finish. We note minimal wear at the bottom where it is set down otherwise the wood is remarkable inside and out. The plastic liner is original and intact with no chips, cracks etc, it does have some darkening in places as you see with plastics as they age but it is clean and still usable.
One of my favorite teak barware pieces yet. Would be interesting to find out which Danish Modern designer made this piece for ESR.
