A superb example of AVeM (Arte Vetraria Muranese) Murano Art Glass by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. This exquisite crimped bowl has a forest green outer color with an incredible tutti frutti or millefiori design of ribbon, lattice work and metallic gold flakes. It has a highly polished finish all the way around.
This hand crafted bowl is in Very Good one owner estate condition and it was brought back from Italy in the late 1950s. There are no chips, cracks, flakes or repairs. We see a few light scratches on polished base from being set down (normal for a piece of this age) and we mention for accuracy. We give it a 9 out 10 for condition.
The bowl stands 3" tall and 7" across the top opening. A wonderful gift for the Murano glass collector or a gorgeous display piece for your home.
