This 19th century antique spice box measures 9" X 6 1/2" X 4" it has a latch closure on the front where it can be pad locked. Each of the 6 containers measures 3" square. 3 of them have handles and 3 are missing there original handles. These are pegged style handles and can either all be replaced easily to match or left as is as the boxes still work to hold spices. The lids to the spice boxes are all hinges. You can see appropriate age wear to the tole finish giving this box a wonderful primitive look. The only major loss of finish is on the base. No dings or dents to the box. We did not take the spices out of the box (but we will if you would like us to) the scent from the box is just divine! This is a great antique piece for use or decor.
