This antique ruby red etched glass decanter is even lovelier in person. It has an intricate design with stars, pineapples, grapes and recessed oval at the top and base. The glass is highly polished and has the appropriate crystal ring. The clear glass glows purple under UV light so their is lead content which we would expect. This decanter is c1890-1910 and in Very Good estate condition with no chips, cracks or flakes seen. This antique decanter does not come with a stopper but we tried several we had around here and it is a standard size with this decanter having a 7/8" opening across the top.
The decanter stands 11 1/8" tall and measures 4" across it's widest point of the body. It measures 3 1/8" at the base and 2" from rim edge to rim edge. It will hold 3 1/3 cups or 26 oz of your favorite wine or whiskey (this is with leaving enough room at top for your stopper).
This will make a beautiful display on your bar, table or cabinet.
