These antique sterling silver shears have a luxurious grape pattern in heavy repousse and nice weight of 55.3 grams. They are in excellent estate condition for their age, c1900.
They measure 6" in length with a 1 3/8" blade. The handles are marked sterling for silver purity and the blades are stainless steel. The blades are marked Krusius Germany on one side and K. Bextra on the other side. Bextra was known for their antique men's straight razors. There is also an additional mark next the word Sterling on both sides of the handle but we can not make out the hallmark. On one side it looks like a W over an M and on the over side it looks different.
These are an incredible piece for the antique silver collector. See our selection of estate antiques here.
