A beautiful and difficult to find piece of Mercer Flow Blue Pottery (semi vitreous china) in the Paisley pattern. This platter is the larger serving piece in this collection and will be perfect for everything from carving meats to fruit trays.
The platter measures 15 3/4" long by 11 1/4" wide. It has a shallow 1 1/4" bowl.
This lovely flow blue platter will make an exceptional display piece when not in use and can be used with many decorative styles. We love it with your Blue and White decors including French Country, Victorian, Shabby Chic and even Farmhouse.
This platter is in Good Condition for its age c1902. It is 120 years old and has stood the test of time well. We see no chips, cracks, flakes or repairs to the platter. We note crazing with mild discoloration on the front and medium discoloration on the back. We note a spider line on the back does not go all the way the way through. We have photographed close up for you to see. It displays beautifully and the flow blue paisley pattern is bright and wonderful shade saturated blue. The colors in our photos are true.
