c1880-90 beautiful badger hair antique paint brush. This early brush has a turned wood handle and firm but soft tipped bristles which are perfect for blending oil paints on canvas. This antique art supply is in Very Good used condition and would make a wonderful gift for the artist. Also, a gorgeous piece for display in your farmhouse, country or primitive home.
The brush measures 9 1/2" in total length with the width across the bristles measuring about 4". No missing or loose bristles. The ferrules are made of animal bone. A fine piece!
