This album was put together in the 1940s and 50s and contains over 980 stamps. I have had for quite a while and just did not have the time to go through it. I was not looking for any inverted Jenny's but I more so wanted to reminisce a bit as I enjoyed collecting with my grand father as young boy.
The inside pages show tanning and some age spots. Most of the stamps are mounted and some have come loose but are in between the correct pages. The stamps range from antique to vintage in age and there is every country imaginable in here. We only get 10 photos and that is not enough to show you a book of this magnitude, so I tried to take some counts for you. Any countries with more than 5 stamps I am listing below. This does not mean the countries that are not listed do not have stamps, it just means there are fewer than 5 stamps.
I did a rough count twice and I estimate 980 stamps or so. I did not take into account duplicates of any kind. This is a really nice start of a collection and I think there are many surprises in here. Below are some rough counts by country (only if they have 5 or more stamps)
