Great looking set of vintage metal and enamel restroom signs c1930-40. This pair of signs was in the same establishment for many decades. They are in Good vintage condition with appropriate age wear seen for 80-90 years of age. Each sign measures 11" in length with a 2 1/2" height. These would be great for your business restrooms but we also love them for an Industrial or Industrial Farmhouse wall or shelf display.
The Ladies sign is cleaner on the front than the Gentlemen sign. The Gentleman sign shows wear through on the white enamel. We did not try to scrub or overclean as we did not want to ruin the remaining enamel. The back of these signs look virtually untouched, they were in the same place for many decades and were painted around. You can see some of the old paint around the back of the holes.
