1840s English Copper Luster Creamer w Beaded Trim Blue Transfer
A treasure for your antique decor. This lovely copper luster creamer is roughly 175 years old, c1840-50 with English roots. It is has the most beautiful metallic glaze with a vivid blue leaf transfer. It also has gorgeous delicate beading on the body. See all photos for a 360 degree look.
This creamer stands 3 3/4" tall to the top of the rim. It has a top opening of 2 3/4" across the round section. The metallic copper luster finish is in superb condition and the blue transfer is close to perfect. We note one flaw on the inside edge of the creamer where the copper luster is worn off the rim revealing the pottery which is a dark red color and blends nicely with the luster making this imperfection difficult to see unless you are looking for it. Otherwise remarkable with no chips, cracks, flakes or repairs.
A great piece for the lusterware collector but we love this for those decorating in rose gold and gold transitional decors as well as farmhouse.
