It is marked 14k for gold purity and has been safely tested to be so.
The 10k charm measures 1" across and is a solid weighty piece. The charm weighs in at 8.9 grams. It has a finely ribbed pattern on the front with a raised design which somewhat resembles a Celtic motif with three set diamonds around it. The diamonds are .05 carats each for an estimated weight of .15 total carats. The back of the charm is engraved with script "Circle of Excellence 1974" and has a highly polished finish. It is marked 10k for gold purity and has been safely tested was well to verify. This was some type of employee recognition gift from General Electric Company.
