1937 Marconi Rigging and Sailing Making by Alan Gray, Illustrated Technical Vintage Sailing Book

1937 Marconi Rigging and Sailmaking; A Simplified Practical Guide for the Amateur by Alan Gray. This is wonderful vintage book, Third Revised Edition is profusely illustrated. It has real photos, drawings and technical information for the sailor. It is a smaller sized hardcover book measuring 6 1/4"H X 4 1/4". It has 162 pages, and an additional page called a "Buyers Guider" referencing the other books in this series ( Rudder On Series).
The condition of the book is Fair to Good. There are no rips, tears, loose, or missing pages. The first and last white blank pages show heaving foxing (tan spotting) - normal for its age. This first and last blank pages are a different kind of paper than the rest of the book, which pages are clean and bright with little foxing seen. The inside pages of the book are glossy. The binding is tight and there are no odors. The green boards show minimal wear. The spine color is a little lighter than the front and back boards. Overall, a nice find for an 85-year-old book.
