This is a 1950s Stunner Rivoli Citrine Rhinestone Ring. The stone is BIG and just POPS off the setting. This rhinestone has deep vivid citrine color and the glass has incredible Rivoli faceting - from the center it looks like rays of sunshine. The stone measures 14mm X 9mm in depth. (It is over a 1/2" across the front of the stone!)
Most costume jewelry rings have flimsy settings but this setting is HEAVY and solid. The gold setting wraps around, like swirls that rise up to form the prongs and hold the stone. It is a gold-tone highly polished setting and the band is a size 7 but will adjust approximately 1/2 size up or down. Any dark spots you see in the photos are reflections from our camera.
