A beautiful example of a 1930s porcelain chintz teapot. This 4 cup teapot by Hotta Yu Shoten Company of Japan is marked on the base and has the item number 2748. The chintz florals are gorgeous in pink, lavender and yellow with greenery and vines. The base color of the porcelain is a winter white. Not quite cream and not quite pure white (it will go with either decor). This vintage teapot is in Very Good Condition with no chips, cracks, flakes or other flaws seen. We see no crazing or discoloration which is amazing for a piece that is 90 years old.
This will go well with many decorative styles including French Country, Cottage, Shabby and any of your floral decors. The Teapot stands 5 3/4" tall to the top of the lid. It has a 10" span from handle to spout.
A superb piece for your decor or the teapot collector.
