A jaw dropping vintage ring in 14k gold and apple green jade. The jade is stunning and the setting accents this ring perfectly. It is a size 6.75.
The 14k gold setting is beautiful and bright. It has a open work gallery with elements of Art Deco styling but is from the 1950s. It is marked 14k on the inside of the band for gold purity and has been safely tested to be so. No other makers marks appear. The gold setting is highly polished and in excellent condition.
The Jade cabochon is large measuring 16mm X 7mm with a 5mm depth for a 4.54 carat weight. You can see how large and lovely this ring is on our model. The apple green Jade is vivid and semi translucent as a better grade of jade should be. This is difficult to capture in photos but you can see it best in photo 2. There are no dark, black or white blemishes or veins. The surface of the jade is glossy and smooth. This is one of the most highly sought after colors of Jadeite.
