This vintage rhinestone costume jewelry set is dazzling from every angle! The pieces have incredible dimension and the AB (aurora borealis) rhinestones put on their own light show. We see blue, teal and violet. There are also large square rivoli stones front and center on each piece - they are mesmerizing. This costume jewelry set dates from the late 1950s to the early 1960s.
The condition is remarkable. Minimal wear seen. The stones are bright and clean. You can see the foil backing on the rivoli stones. The setting on all the pieces is a bright silver rhodium plate.
The bracelet will fit a 6 3/4" wrist or smaller. It measures 1 1/2" tall at the center of the bracelet where the rivoli stone is set. The sides of the bracelet are 4 rows of AB stones with a 1/2" width. The bracelet has a box catch closure.
The brooch is stunning and large measuring 1 3/4" square. It has a wavy body (see photo 2) which gives the stones even more play in the light. It has a fold over safety catch.
Lastly are the matching square rivoli earrings. These are clip-ons and measure 1" square.
This is a picture perfect set and would be beautiful for a formal evening out, a wedding or glam up your blue jeans.
