A beautiful and rare piece of antique John Maddocks & Son "Viriginia" Flow Porcelain. This dinner plate is one of a few pieces of this pattern we acquired from a local estate. You can view the additional pieces in a link below this listing. This Viriginia pattern has remnants of metallic gold accents on the lovely flow blue leaf design. There is a scalloped and crimped edge to the plate.
This flow blue plate measures 9.75". It is in Good Condition for its 130-year age (1880-1896). We note no chips, cracks or flakes. There is mild crazing with virtually no discoloration noted. This is an incredible piece of flow blue porcelain for its age.
