Vintage Rainbow Rhinestone Crescent Moon Brooch c1950
Vivid bold and beautiful unsigned Mid Century piece of rhinestone costume jewelry. This Crescent Moon brooch is heavy extremely well crafted. The setting is gold vermeil and has sensational faceted glass rhinestones in a variety of shapes, sizes and vivid colors. The stones are all foil backed and some are multiprong set and some are bezel set. The outer setting has a wonderful rope or ribbon edge. This brooch measures 1 3/4" long X 1 1/2" at it's widest point and has a convex body standing roughly 1/4" in height. It is spectacular from every angle! Rhinestone colors are red, yellow, blue, aqua, green, pink and fuchsia. Whether you wear on a scarf, jacket, hat, purse or put it in a bridal bouquet it will be a STAND OUT eye catching attraction.
